The 154th Commencement of Syracuse University will be held on Sunday, May 11, 2008, at 9:30 a.m., indoors at the Carrier Dome, and will last about two hours. Seating at the Carrier Dome is on a first-come, first-served basis, since some 18,000 guests are expected to attend this event, it is recommended that degree candidates and their guests read and be guided by the information on this web site.

This web site has been prepared in an effort to anticipate as many questions as possible. Contact the Office of Special Events at 315-443-4631 with any questions.

To be a part of Commencement, degree candidates must complete the "File Diploma Request"  procedure on MySlice. This is a very important step and is necessary for participation! For information on the various Commencement weekend events, visit Events and Commencement Schedule.
