As Commencement quickly approaches, I am writing today to share with you important information about stadium entry requirements. In accordance with New York State’s guidelines, all graduates will be required to comply with one of the three following options:
· Proof of completed vaccination; specifically, on the day of the event the individual must provide documentation indicating that at least 14 days have passed since the individual received the second dose of the Pfizer-BioNtech or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine, or at least 14 days have passed since the individual received the Janssen/Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine.
· Proof of a negative COVID-19 antigen-type test, administered within six hours of the event start time.
· Proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR-type test, administered within 72 hours of event day.
If you are planning to demonstrate proof of completed vaccination to enter the stadium on the day of Commencement, please know you must act quickly!
If you haven’t been vaccinated or haven’t scheduled an appointment yet, please take action today. To make a vaccination appointment through the Barnes Center, please visit the Student Patient Portal. You can also submit proof you have received a vaccination at an off-campus clinic by visiting the Student Patient Portal.
